Ephesians 6:13-17 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

WITH THE BELT OF TRUTH BUCKLED AROUND YOUR WAIST. Paul was using illustration from the Roman soldier’s armor. The breastplate is securely strapped at the back of the soldier to the BELT. If the belt will be taken out, the breastplate will fall off.

I think all religions are teaching to do well. Even Muslims, although they are instructed in their Koran to kill infidels but to their own group they are taught to do well. The Buddhists, the Hindus’, the Catholics and all cult religions are also teaching righteousness. But if the BELT OF TRUTH is taken out, all good works in nothing to God. Where can you find truth? It is only in the Word of God which is the BIBLE. If the doctrine is contaminated it is not the TRUTH. If the BELT will be taken out, the breastplate will fall off. Even if you seriously doing well and help others, the breastplate is no longer there. Your good works is nothing to God. Yes to a society it may help but spiritually, to God it is only human goodness. The Catholics, the none profit organizations are helping too to homeless and calamity victims. Yes it helps but NOT GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS.

“FALSE TEACHING IN THE CHURCH”

Distinguish false teachings from false teachers. False teacher is one who knows the truth and has deliberately turned away from it. On the other hand, false teaching is a mixture of truth and error. Thus, people may at the same time be encouraged and nourished by some things that are true but unknowingly accept error along with it. Unfortunately, sometimes even a small amount of error may be dangerous. Ninety-eight percent of rat poison is wholesome food. Only two percent is deadly.

JESUS STATED THAT FALSE TEACHINGS WILL LEAD TO HARMFUL CONSEQUENCES.

(Mat. 7:15-20),“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.”

(Matthew 24:11-12),Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

(Acts 20:30), Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.
